From front line social work, advocacy, Ofsted inspector, senior executive position in a National Fostering Agency and an owner (CEO) of a children's home and supported accommodation residential service.

Sophie has had a successful career in the private, voluntary and statutory children's sector over the past 30 years. From front line social work, advocacy, Ofsted inspector, senior executive position in a National Fostering Agency and an owner (CEO) of a children's home and supported accommodation residential service.
Sophie has led agencies through 'Outstanding' and 'Good' Ofsted inspections, while achieving considerable growth in the business and the development of bespoke specialist therapeutic approaches.
Sophie developed a unique and successful residential children's home and supported accommodation service - growing the business to 10 homes within 4 years.
Occupancy and standards remained exceptionally high, working with a number of LA's as their preferred provider - setting up bespoke packages for children and young people with complex needs.
With an excellent understanding of the sector, she has expertly developed service models and partnerships within the industry that deliver successful business opportunities and ensure care experienced children receive high quality and specialist services to meet their needs.
